Social & Friendship Skills Group for Kids (Ages 6–10) Summer 2025 6 weeks: July 7th Start date
Using Dance & Movement to Build Confidence, Connection & Communication
Does your child struggle with making friends, reading social cues, or joining group play? Our Social and Friendship Skills Group helps elementary-age children grow in confidence, empathy, and communication—all through the power of dance/movement therapy!
This engaging, creative group uses body-based techniques, playful movement games, and structured social practice to help kids:
Understand emotions (their own and others’)
Practice teamwork and turn-taking
Learn how to enter and exit play
Build empathy, trust, and self-regulation
Develop confidence in social interactions
Led by a licensed dance/movement therapist, this group creates a fun, nurturing space for children to explore social connection through movement, rhythm, and creativity.
Perfect For Kids Who:
Feel shy, anxious, or overwhelmed in social settings
Have difficulty making or keeping friends
Experience ADHD, social communication challenges, or emotional regulation struggles
